Is the Skipass included?
Ski passes must be purchased separately. All children need a ski pass, from the age of 6 the ski pass is chargeable. The rates can be found at www.mayrhofner-bergbahnen.com.
Do beginners require a Skipass?
Yes, everyone needs a ski pass to use the cable car facilities.
Can our Children be together in a group?
"In our ski school, children are mainly assigned according to their skiing ability and age.
So if your children or friends' children ski at about the same level, we ask you to express your wish on the first day to the person you assign, and we will do our best!

If the children do not ski equally well, the child who can ski better will be assigned to the level of the lesser skier."
Must we take the 5 (6) Day course, or are shorter options available?
"Our programme for the groups is based on a week, with ski races and great different programmes, especially on weekends.
Therefore, it is recommended to stay in lessons for the whole (5) 6 days. But of course, it is also possible to take a lesson for fewer days!"
Are the tariffs different if at first a 3 day course is booked, & then extended by a couple of days?
Yes,but there are special prices available after a 3 day course.

1 day extension - €25,-

2 day extension - €33,-
How is the timing if both parents & children are in Skischool?
Yes, the children can be dropped off at 9.00 am. at the set meeting point.
Good care will be taken of the children until they are collected by their parents at the agreed time.
How does the Grading work?
The children (not complete beginners) do a small run, so they can be put in a group with those of a similar standard.
Should this not be right first time, He, or She will be moved to a suitable group.
Does the skischool have its own Rental dept., or do we work with other sports shops?
We have in our 4 skischool offices our own Rental department.
If i am not happy in the course, is it possible to change (e,g. from Ski to Snowboard course?
Of course! We would ask you to do this at one of our offices so that we may change your booking.
Is it possible to join a course during the week?
This is possible for advanced skiers & boarders, & on most days (except friday & saturday) there is a new course for beginners.
How early must we book for a private Instructor?
Normally, "The earlier, the better"!
We would request that you book at least a day before to make sure we have an Instructor available.

Is it possible to join a group for one day?
It is possible,but we would normally recommend 3 days, as you have the advantage, if you like, of extending the course at the special rates.
Courses are normally based on a 5 day program & particularly for BEGINNERS, we would recommend a MINIMUM of 3 days to learn the basics of skiing.
At what age can young children join a Ski course?
From 3 years. For three and four year old children we offer Bambini private lessons of 2h. For all other children a 3h course.
What is the difference between a ‘Schnupperkurs’ (Trial course) & a normal course?
The only difference is that, to meet the course cost should the child decide not to remain.
The price of the course will be deducted from the normal cost should the course be extended.
Do you have Dutch instructors?
We have Dutch ski instructors in our team.
Do I need to make a reservation in advance for a group course?
We would recommend booking in advance for group courses via our online shop, thereby saving time & guaranteeing a place.
Does the ski course have to take place on consecutive dates?
The days should follow each other, as progress is made on a daily basis.
Should this really not be possible, it may well mean changing groups.
Please ask your ski Instructor for advice.
Is it also possible to have mid day child care on individual days?
Yes! we would request that you purchased it the day before in one of our offices, but at the very latest, on the morning of the course.
From 2,5 Years. For 3 year old children we off a Half Day course, & all other children, a Half, or a Full Day course. For the Snowboards course we recommend a minimum age of 6 years. For younger children, please do an enquire.
What's the difference between Gold, Silver and Bronze Equipment?
The only difference is that, to meet the course cost should the child decide not to remain.
The price of the course will be deducted from the normal cost should the course be extended.
Is a helmet included in the Package?
A helmet is not included in the package, but can be booked locally.
Is midday child care included in the course?
It is NOT included in the price, but can be purchased for €12,-/per day. Included in the price is food & drink and of course good care of the children.
Is equipment included in the price of the Ski course?
The equipment (i.e, Skis, Boots & Poles) are not included, but can be booked as a package.
What are the prices for extended course days?
Extended days are available on a minimum of a 3 Day course.
